The Mythusoft-developed application ISOMagic comes in handy when you want to turn the contents of a CD or DVD to an ISO image file. Or when you want to extract the contents of an ISO image file, when you have a BIN, IMG, CIF, NRF or BWI file and you want to convert it to ISO, when you have an ISO file and you want to convert it to BIN, and more.

You can run ISOMagic on your PC if it meets the following system requirements: Intel Pentium 166MHz or better processor, 64MB or better RAM memory, 10MB or more of free disk space, 32 or 64-bit Windows edition. Download a 546KB archive, extract its contents, run the ISOMagic setup executable, and a setup wizard will show up and guide you through the installation process.

ISOMagic’s interface is divided into two views: Explorer View at the top and ISOMagic View beneath it. Above them, in the upper left hand corner, there are buttons for different tasks this application can perform. Further up there’s a traditional File Menu. This simple interface layout will not be a problem to any user, not even a novice. Using this interface to access the functionality ISOMagic has to offer will be a very simple task.

Speaking about functionality, there are several things you can do with the ISOMagic application: create an ISO image from a CD, DVD, or from a file you have on your computer; convert an ISO image to BIN; convert BIN, IMG, CIF, and other formats to ISO; extract data from an ISO image; make a boot image from floppy; load and save boot image.

ISOMagic is only free to try. The trial version displays a nag screen and a 300M document limit.

Easily create ISO images and convert other image types to ISO with the ISOMagic application.

Pros

The system requirements for running ISOMagic are so low that even a low spec PC will easily meet them. The interface is quite simple and easy to use. Use ISOMagic to create ISO images, extract data from ISO images, and more.

Cons

Nag screen; 300M document limit in the trial version.
